For This Mutual Fund, Commodities Are More Than A Hedge

FYI: (Click On Article Title At Top Of Google Search)
Scott Wolle has always had a variety of interests. In college, he spent as much time studying philosophers, including
Danish existentialist Søren Kierkegaard, as he did the ins and outs of option pricing.

Now chief investment officer of Invesco’s global asset allocation team—and manager of the Invesco Balanced-Risk Commodity Strategy fund—Wolle continues to seek connections among disciplines, from structural engineering to the work of social psychologist Philip Tetlock. “There are few, if any, immutable laws to investing. It’s crucial to take disparate ideas and figure out how to fit them together in a coherent whole,” Wolle says.
