FYI: On Monday, S&P Global Market Intelligence wrote about how the inconsistent results of equity funds showed the cracks in active management—and showed the appeal of passive funds. The firm argues that while some investors have abandoned active strategies for stocks but held onto it for bonds, in reality actively managed bond funds also have a somewhat dismal record.
