Market Recap: 8/19/16

FYI: Sleepy late summer Fridays continue as the Wall Street crowd enjoys the Hamptons. There was a slightly negative skew on the day and in the end the S&P 500 fell 0.14% while the NASDAQ fell 0.03%. TINA ( There Is No Alternative) will be TINA until the market finally sells off; then TINA will go away.
Regards,
Ted

  • Ted...I'm seeing some skittishness on many of the classic dividend payers which have been bid up. The next few weeks will be interesting, and we may see a 5-10% dip from their recent highs.
