Wilshire Funds: How David Competes With Mutual Fund World's Goliaths
FYI: Maybe mutual fund investing is rocket science. After all, Dennis Tito, a founder, chairman and CEO of Los Angeles-based financial firm Wilshire Associates, got his bachelor of science degree in astronautics and aeronautics.
Tito, age 76, started his career as a rocket scientist at the famed Jet Propulsion Laboratory, helping to plot trajectories for the Mariner spacecraft to Mars.
