  • SFGIX - the reason to own this fund is manager Andrew Foster. Shortly after he left Matthews (where he led MAPIX to great success), I had the opportunity talk with him. He was putting out feelers for what would become Seafarer Funds and agreed that his new fund should be truly different than others in its asst class and have reasonable fees, which it does in both cases. A great manager and a good person, too. And a good option for those who want EM exposure with much less volatility than usual.
