FYI: Kevin O’Leary has a nose for sniffing out business opportunities and these days he’s laser focused on factor-based exchange-traded funds, the hottest sub-niche in the fast-growing ETF business.

O’Leary, co-founder of O’Shares Investments, is best known for his role on venture capital-themed television show, “Shark Tank.” Last year, though, “Mr. Wonderful” rolled out the first of five factor-based stock ETFs. The largest of these is the $240 million O’Shares FTSE U.S. Quality Dividend ETF (OUSA).

O’Shares Investments this week unveiled plans for 10 new multi-factor stock ETFs and another seven smart-beta fixed income ETFs.

Ted
