FYI: A company can always claim to follow “sustainable” policies, which may be enough to qualify it for inclusion in, say, a carbon-free mutual fund or a gender-equality ETF.
But how can an investor know if such a company really is having an impact on climate change or sex discrimination with its business practices and policies?
