Death of Elie Wiesel at age 87.

edited July 2016 in The OT Bullpen
His courage and heart and intelligence and voice will outlast his physical death; all of it will outlast you and me. It will outlast us all. He was not perfect. Neither am I. We read his "Night" in school. When I got older, I actually could grasp its profundity. "He was one of the victims of Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme. His foundation, the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, lost more than $15 million it had invested with Madoff, and he and his wife lost savings." (NBC News.)
