The Closing Bell: Stocks Tumble As ‘Brexit’ Anxiety, Retreating Oil Reignite Worries

FYI: U.S. stocks fell for a second session in a row Friday, with major indexes erasing much of their gains for the week.

The steep drop in bond yields around the world continued to trigger moves across markets. Yields on government debt in Germany, Japan and the U.K. hit all-time lows Friday, boosting the allure of investments with better returns such as U.S. Treasurys and stocks that pay out high dividends.

Uncertainty over global economic growth, central-bank policy and a coming vote on whether the U.K. will remain in the European Union have added to the wave of risk aversion in global markets
