Stocks Treading Water Masks Underlying Shifts

FYI: The S&P 500 may look like it’s merely treading water, but a lot of money is sloshing between different types of stocks.
That’s showing up in the diverging performance between different categories of stocks, according to Ilya Feygin, managing director at New York-based brokerage WallachBeth Capital. One way to look at that is through exchange-traded funds.
