FYI: While oil’s recent rebound has captured most of the headlines, commodities in general have been on a tear this year, led by silver, writes Global X’s Jay Jacobs in a new note out Wednesday.
Silver is up 23.2% year to date, Jacobs highlights, trailed by Brent and West Texas Intermediate Crude, up 19.3% and 15.1%, respectively, and then gold’s 16.9% gain. Soybeans round out the top five, with a 14.8% gain.
