The Closing Bell: U.S. Stocks Rebound But Still Face A Weekly Decline

FYI: U.S. stocks rose Friday, driven by gains in the materials and industrials sectors, but were on track to fall for the week.
Stocks have struggled to gain traction after a multimonth rally, dragged down by downbeat economic readings, swings in oil prices, and what is shaping up to be the fourth straight quarter of declines in corporate earnings, according to FactSet.
