FYI: Investors Turn to Taxable-Bond and Commodity Funds in February
After the January sell-off, U.S. equities staged somewhat of a comeback for two weeks in
February but overall finished the month practically flat. The S&P 500 was down 0.1%. Fourthquarter
U.S. gross domestic product growth was revised upward to 1.0% from the initially
reported 0.7%. This, together with other stronger U.S. economic data, appears to have at least
partially staved off recession fears for the moment
