Guggenheim Total Return Bond Fund Crushes Peers

Managed by four autonomous groups, Guggenheim Total Return Bond has outpaced peers over past three years.

  • 4% FEL, for a bond fund..... I don't think so.......
  • FWIW: Load waived at Schwab. $100 mini for regular and IRA. Also available as an ETF, viz., GTO but thus far with very low volume.
  • Looks like so far, so good, but I like MWTRX for total bond fund. One of my muni bonds matures this June and my remaining ones have a first call date in June. Don't know if they will get called in June or not, so keeping my eyes open. May get more munis but it will be hard to match the rates I have, since they were purchased in 2006 , so may be looking at bond funds. I do have a Guggenheim sector etf RHS, very pleased with it.

    Speaking of total return bond funds, I just noticed the other day that TGLMX has mostly kept pace with DLTNX/DBLTX since Gundlach left.
