The Closing Bell: Wall Street Ends Flat As Draghi Disappoints
FYI: Stocks showed decent gains in the early going Thursday, but strength was short-lived despite news of more stimulus out of Europe. The Nasdaq lost 0.3%, recovering nicely from a 1.4% intraday loss. The Dow Jones industrial average fell less than 0.1%,while the S&P 500 rose less than 0.1%. Preliminary data showed NYSE and Nasdaq volume coming in higher than Wednesday’s levels. If it holds, it would be distribution day No. 3 for the Nasdaq Regards, Ted MarketWatch Slant: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/us-stock-futures-in-holding-pattern-waiting-for-ecb-to-deliver-2016-03-10/print
