ETF's Today: Energy ETFs Leap Ahead In A Muted Stock Market; More Woes For Gold

FYI: Energy ETFs led Wednesday as oil prices rose and major U.S. stock indexes scratched out modest gains. Investors remain cautious ahead of a key meeting of policymakers in Europe Thursday.

The European Central Bank is expected to decide on whether to increase quantitative easing and whether to further cut already-negative interest rates.

SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production (XOP) popped more than 4% on the stock market today. The ETF has rallied along with the broad market since its February interim low of 22.97, but it remains 48% below its 52-week high of 56.18.
