This week's Barron's cover story, by Gene Epstein, argues that we will have 3 percent GDP growth this year, and the stock market will reach new highs. He was bullish in March 2009, and has remained bullish.
Alas, the two lead columns of the same magazine, "Up and Down Wall Street," and "Streetwise," warn that we are in a bear market that is about to get a lot worse.
