FYI: Below is a list of the most searched mutual funds according to Google. We have compiled this list by checking the number of Google searches for a fund symbol (e.g., FBIOX) in the United States via Google Keyword Planner. We performed this process for each of the top 3,000 mutual funds by net asset value and filtered all fund symbols with less than 700 searches per month. Observe that mutual funds with the same number of searches per month were given the same position.
Interestingly enough, the most popular fund (FBIOX) is the 983rd mutual fund in net asset value at the time of writing. Although anecdotal, this example indicates that net asset value and popularity may not be correlated.
