FYI: Don’t look now, but the S&P 500 Energy sector is actually outperforming the broad S&P 500 on a year-to-date basis. Both are still down, but Energy is down 5.9% YTD while the S&P 500 is down 7.4% YTD. After underperforming the S&P 500 by more than 20 percentage points for two years in a row in 2014 and 2015, we sent clients the B.I.G. Tips report below at the end of 2015.
