Feds foresee $30 trillion debt, blame looming tax hikes and Obamacare
I think I'll be OK as will others of my age. We will have to begin to pay a VAT to address the debt as they did in Europe in the 70s/80s but that is only a holding action and the USA will look a lot more like Europe economically as time goes on.
It was a good ride while it lasted for those who didn't have to deal with offshoring of jobs, robots, artificial intelligence, high college costs and VAT.
