The Breakfast Briefing: Futures Point To Fall For U.S. stocks

FYI: Global stocks remained under pressure Thursday following a bruising selloff in the previous session that sent markets around the world tumbling through their summer lows.

Futures pointed to a 0.4% opening loss for the S&P 500, after the index neared a two-year low on Wednesday. Changes in futures don’t necessarily reflect market moves after the opening bell.
