Worst & Best Performing S&P 500 Stocks YTD

FYI: 26 stocks in the S&P 500 are already down more than 20% year-to-date, and we’re only 10 trading days into the year! Below is a list of the year’s biggest losers so far. As shown, Williams (WMB) is down the most at -37.35%, followed by CONSOL Energy (CNX) at -36.84% and Freeport-McMoRan (FCX) at -35.75%. Marathon Oil (MRO) and Anadarko Petroleum (APC) round out the top five losers with declines of 35% and 34%, respectively. Other notables on the list include Alcoa (AA), AutoNation (AN), Micron (MU), Skyworks (SWKS), Morgan Stanley (MS), and Schwab (SCHW).

The list of winners so far in 2016 is laughable. Below are the 20 stocks in the S&P 500 up more than 1% year-to-date. Only one stock (FLIR) is up more than 10% while just five are up more than 5%.
