FYI: How many times have you heard that equities have been marching to the tune of oil’s drum? When oil prices rally, equities follow suit and when the price of oil comes under pressure, buyers in the equity market quickly vanish. It certainly seems like that has been the case lately, but this afternoon at least, equities are putting forth their best effort to march to their own tune.
