FYI: With year-end in sight, you may be giving your mutual fund portfolio its annual check-up. Even if all of your funds have done well, you may spot reasons to dump or trim one or more of them.

Why? There can be several reasons for investors to get rid of a fund or trim it that have nothing to do with lagging performance.
