Just curious if anybody has played around with some "fun money" on any platforms like StartEngine, AngelList, Wefunder, etc. Not the donation-based crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter (those are a joke, IMO). Obviously, any investments here should not represent a significant portion of one's overall portfolio, but seems somewhat interesting to me and a way to get invested in the earlier stages of some of the most interesting and innovative small companies out there. Yes, I know there is a ton of risk here, but just wanted to hear others thoughts and/or experiences.
