FYI: This week in our Masters in Business radio podcast, we speak with Ken Fisher. He manages $68 billion for Fisher Investments, is the author of 11 books, and is a mere weeks away from being the longest running columnist for Forbes magazine.
Fisher describes building a firm from the ground up, having “no idea what he was doing,” as heworked to create one of the largest RIAs in the country. Despite calling himself the “Forrest Gump of finance,” he talks about the importance of excellence in everything the firm does, from HR to marketing to training. The conversation is a little bit ‘inside baseball,’ but it is fascinating nonetheless.
