  • Let me know when it gets down to $500

In my lifetime I've watched it go from $35 up to $850, than down to $275, than up to $1800, and now down to $1050. YOU tell me where it's going next. (At $1050, an ounce should still buy you a pretty good suit. No?)

LOL - It was a Barrons commodities guru who made one of the most flawed predictions in history regarding the future of gold prices (February 12, 2001 ). http://dailyreckoning.com/gold-again/
  • Howdy,

Sure looks like the bull market is over. That said, it was a wonderful ride. Historically, commodity type bull markets run 12-15 years or so and we're right there.

I still believe in a 'security blanket' holding of pm's representing a small percentage of your wealth, but speculation?!? Cripes, I wouldn't speculate in pm's rights now with Ted or Mark's money. teehehe;-)

That said, for those of us that acquire bullion coins over time, the 2016 editions are on sale. POS is under $15 and the POG is under $1500. I remember back when I felt silver under $5 was always a Buy and same/same with gold under $500.

With an over time acquisition plan to acquire ones security blanket it's a good time to DCA.

    and so it goes,

    peace,

    rono
