FCNTX - This is how Fidelity’s Danoff turned $10,000 into $217,541 in 25 years

"In the mutual fund business, where manager tenure tends to last fewer than five years, Will Danoff stands out. On Sept. 16, Danoff completed 25 years as manager of the Fidelity Contrafund FCNTX.....To Danoff’s credit, the Fidelity Contrafund has posted impressive results under his management despite its large size. According to Morningstar, $10,000 invested in the Contrafund on Sept. 17, 1990, has grown to $217,541, implying a 13.1% compound annual return. The benchmark S&P 500 returned 9.9% a year during that span, and the average large-cap growth fund 8.9%."
