Norway has the largest Sovereign Wealth Fund and one of the largest gas fields in the world. Both are being tapped to meet budget shortfalls.

"Its platform -- the tallest structure to have ever been moved by human beings -- can deliver 120 million cubic meters of gas each day."

"the world’s biggest sovereign wealth fund (SWF), and is expected to tap this $820bn resource for the first time next year to balance its budget."

Interview in second article is very interesting. A smart financial guy straightens out a hyper (the sky is falling) dumb financial reporter (points for good looks). SWF are rearranging their portfolio...asset reallocation, not "selling" out of fear.
