Yes, he and Richard Pell ran Artio International fund for awhile. As I recalled, they had a good run for awhile, then they made some poor bets that went south and never recovered since then. Both managers left when Artio was acquired by someone else. Kinda like old wine sold in new bottles. Thus, I will pass.
