Or was this a reverse split? Share price ended around $7 from a staring price of $3.50ish.

Maybe this avoids pension funds from selling (any shares that remain under $5) by mandate.

What am I missing?

@bee Hey, it isn't "you," so much as PIMCO has apparently decided to transform itself into the Brand Spankin' New PIMCO and has done a big revamping of their website. Information is not where it used to be. I was going to tell you where I saw several days ago the (very brief) note on the reverse split, but dang if I could find it again. Ted's link saved the day.
@Ted That's quite a link, Ted. Do you imagine a human being generated that string? Perhaps PIMCO has relinquished those duties to The Robots (we're doomed and just don't know it yet).
