A new ETF, actively managed in quant-geek style (they use computers!), that has no established record. The fund is managed by someone who has never before managed OPM (is that really the case? I don't know); but... but... but he wrote a book and he studied for his Ph.D. "under" Eugene Fama (did he finish it?), so that must count for a great deal (no, it rarely counts for anything). The fact he served in Iraq is about as relevant to his PM skill set as would be the fact he regularly volunteers at and serves on the Board of his local ASPCA chapter.

But without any proof in the pudding, Mr. Goldberg feels "comfortable" putting his money and his client's money with this investing team, before seeing if the talk walks. O.K., good luck to all.

Wow, what a handjob valentine that is.

fwiw, since its week-before-Halloween launch, it has beaten SCHD, RSP, RPG, RPV, SP500, but not FCNTX. Maybe another one to keep an eye on.
