FYI: Negotiations continue this weekend in an effort to find a solution (likely not a long-term one) to Greece’s debt problems, and the outcome of those talks will no doubt have an impact on our markets come Monday. While fundamentals ultimately win out, short term events such as the current Greek debt crisis, create added volatility to the markets. This past week was no exception, as talks came to a grinding halt when IMF negotiators halted discussions.
