American Century Examines History Of Quantitative Investing

FYI: Quantitative investing strategies enjoyed a “golden” age earlier this century, but fell out of favor in the aftermath of the Financial Crisis. Years later, these strategies are increasingly attractive in an environment of scarce opportunities, but in order to appreciate the potential benefit, we first need to understand what quantitative investing is, and how the concept came to be. That’s the objective of American Century’s new white paper, The Evolution of Quantitative Investment Strategies.
