Will you live to be over 100 and outlive your nest egg?

Not sure how accurate this test is. I have my doubts. I tried to be as honest as possible. My results showed I would live to 106. I have a terrible and bland diet of peanut butter/raisins/almonds, and cereal. Been that way for decades. I have never been a vegetable eater. I do take about 9 vitamin/mineral supplements but often wonder about their efficacy. Then again, I exercise daily and for at least two hours or more and my weight is the same as when I was 18. If teeth are a marker for longevity (as I have often read) I have it made as my last visit to a dentist was June 1969. I have good teeth/gums inherited from my 94 year old Mom who still has all hers. I have never had a cold or a headache as an adult. But I believe nothing is a given as we age and a stroke or heart attack in the next week/month/year while an unwelcome surprise is not out of the realm of possibility.

My result is age 87. I also take vitamins and supplements. I also take a dose of good extra virgin olive oil daily so that certain vitamins and supplements will work better. This includes fat soluble vitamins and Ubiquinol.

My family growing up was big on eating meat and potatoes. High fat including using bacon grease for cooking. As I grew older I changed my diet to less fats. Less ground beef and more vegetables. Different foods also including Asian etc.

Considering all the chemicals and toxins we were exposed to at the early age including leaded gasoline and paint, insecticides, and weed killers, today's generation should have a big head start on longevity.

In the end however, we do not know the day nor the hour.

    Thanks @Junkster for the link.

Life expectancy in the USA hits a record high

Life expectancy in the USA rose in 2012 to 78.8 years – a record high.

However, from the link above, https://livingto100.com/

    Life Expectancy Calculator

The Living to 100 Life Expectancy Calculator

It says "Most people score in their late eighties"...

That tells you a lot about this life expectancy calculator...........

Good grief. If you live to be 100, you'll have plenty more to worry about than how much money you have.

"Well, in the morning you hope someone will arrive to put your stockings on, and your bedroom slippers, and they take you to the loo and after that you wash, they help you, and after that you have breakfast, which is brought to me in my room I'm glad to say..."

@JohnChisum- yeah, but on the other hand look at all of the preservatives in the food that our generation has eaten. That should offset a lot of the other stuff.
