FYI: U.S. stocks inched lower and bonds rose on Friday as Wall Street pushed paper around in anticipation of the three-day holiday weekend. In a speech, Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen reiterated for the umpteenth time that an interest rate increase is on track for this year, but that the central bank will be cautious about pulling the trigger too soon. Mainland China stocks continued to rally, leaving the Deutsche X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares ETF (ASHR) with a 9% gain this week. Volumes in the U.S. on Friday were LOW, and the CBOE Volatility Index dropped to its lowest level of 2015, intraday.
