FYI: Investors appear to be dipping their toes into the emerging market pool once again. Portfolio flows to emerging markets hit $35 billion in April, the highest level since June of last year and well above the $22 million monthly average for the period from 2010-2014, according to the Institute of International Finance. Those investors who have increased their exposure to Emerging Markets have been rewarded; the MSCI Emerging Markets Index is up 8.34% this year, compared with 2.26% for the S&P 500.
