Recently, I came across a discussion string that was comprised of about 10 or more submissions by very knowledgable members. They were long and insightful, but I don't remember where they are located. I do remember that John Chisum was one of the submitters (several times). Can anyone steer me to the string? Thanks Alex
John, I'm sorry. At my advanced age, I barely remember to go to the toilet in the AM. I only remember that it was the longest thread that I had seen on MFO; and your name was on several of them with very acute observations about investing. You would think I would have learned my lesson printed or somehow saved the thread, but that's what smart folks do! I recall also that it was sometime in the last week or ten days if that elps. Thank you for your forebearance. Alex
On the Discussions page if you use the search box and look for @JohnChisum or John Chisum you'll get a list of everything where those terms appear organized by date. It might still take a little effort to find what you're looking for but hopefully it would be a lot easier than looking through everything. If you know there were a lot of comments you can also look through the discussions for the ones with a higher number of comments. Hope that helps a little.
My thanks to all the MFO people who kindly helped (and succeeded) I am sending this string to my adviser and telling him to shape up or ship out.The quality of the information I have gotten over the years ranks head and shoulders above other newsletters (and it's FREE) I suspect that there are some brilliant money managers hiding behind those aliases. Muchos gracias, Alejandro
