Most People Get An ‘F’ On 529-Plan Knowledge

FYI: Despite being around for more than 15 years, 529 college savings plans remain a mystery to most households.

Sixty-six percent of Americans don’t know what a 529 plan is, according to findings released Wednesday by financial-services firm Edward Jones. The firm’s survey asked just over 1,000 U.S. adults—including parents and those without children:
