Dodge & Cox The Big Winner In The AOL Deal

FYI: Ownership of AOL is relatively concentrated – meaning much of the gains from the $4.4 billion buyout fall into relatively few hands. Just three investors, mutual fund Dodge & Cox, private investor Iridian Asset Management and asset management firm BlackRock own roughly a third of AOL’s 78.3 million shares outstanding, according to a USA TODAY analysis of data from S&P Capital IQ.
