FYI: Investing is a contact sport. There are times you are going
to get hurt. Still, if you don’t play with a purpose, you are
likely to hurt a lot worse. Having a plan can prepare you for
the inevitable ups and downs we experience in our
portfolios. Without one, we are no different than the poor
guy who gets caught standing flat-footed on the field just as
someone else who has a purpose runs him over.
