What Can We Learn From U.S. Listed ETF Flows And How They Relate To Overall Market Direction?

FYI: We’re coming up to the end of the month, so it’s time to see what we can learn from U.S. listed exchange traded fund (ETF) flows and how they relate to overall market direction. The headline from this analysis is straightforward: investors are still very comfortable adding risk to portfolios. ETF money flows for April through the end of last week were positive $21.1 billion and with Q1 inflows added to the mix, the ETF industry is on track to have $240 billion or more of fresh capital coming through the doors in 2015.
