This taxation issue is being heard all around the globe. I begin to wonder when stuff like this happens almost simultaneously.
As for the watch, it's a hit piece story . None of the watches made it into showrooms that I have read. Apple has already dropped the Chinese supplier of the taptic engine and has gone solely with the Japanese one.
I can see that happening after the fact now. The watch also has the ability to know you so if someone takes it and wears it, they cannot use it. Perhaps the same sensors? I am surprised with all the tattoos the youngsters wear, this wasn't tested or thought of.
My uncle came back out of Korea and the USMC with a Globe and Anchor tattoo. A lotta guys did that sort of thing. The extreme stuff these days, when I see it, makes me want to stop and ask: "What happened? You were driven to draw something when you woke up today, but you couldn't find paper and crayons? So you decided to use your BODY, instead?"
The Irish gov't with its tax policy is in hot water with the EU. I see tv ads all the time for NY State. "Pay no tax on start-ups for 10 years!" And so I ask: why don't I deserve a holiday from paying taxes? What about the guy down the street? What about ALL of us? Those sweetheart deals are unethical, and they suck, wherever you might find them.
