FYI: Major stock benchmarks rose in the U.S., and the Nasdaq Composite reached its highest-ever finish despite earnings weakness from Internet companies like Facebook (FB), which slumped after missing quarterly revenue expectations. Bond prices also rose. In Asia, Taiwan markets got a big boost that carried over into the iShares MSCI Taiwan ETF (EWT). Oil prices leaped to their highest level of 2015 amid signs that a stockpile glut could be easing.
