Hmm...Isn't the manager who hit the cover off the ball at Nuveen Tradewinds something? KGGAX has sucked up the place.
I get more and more convinced everyday 99% investing is luck. We should stop expecting too much from managers. We should really invest in individual stocks, index funds, or at least demand manager has substantial part of his net worth invested alongside his investors.
If investors do this the market will be forced to adapt and all jokers impersonating investment managers will just go and take up some other profession they are good at (assuming they are good at something else).
