U.S. Stock Sentiment Mauled by Crises Shows Signs of Stabilizing

I have been wondering what might drive the US Stock market up again this year. Continued aggressive corporate buybacks of shares would help. This article suggests a return to the marketplace by households sitting on the sidelines since 2007 could also provide some needed juice.

"The percentage of Americans invested in the stock market, however, fell to 48.8 percent in 2013 from 53.2 percent in 2007, according to Federal Reserve data."
