FYI: What Does Inflow Mean for the SPY?
Looking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of exchange traded funds covered at ETF Channel[1], one standout is the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSEARCA:SPY[2]), where we have detected an inflow of approximately $6.2 billion — that’s a 3.3% increase week over week in outstanding units (from 895,382,116 to 925,032,116).
