FYI: Bond funds that operate without investment restrictions go by many names—go-anywhere, unconstrained, absolute return, strategic income, to name a few. No matter what you call them, these funds seem to promise everything—better yields, reduced volatility, and performance in any type of market.
However, these funds can carry risks that you may not realize.
