2011 Q4 FPA International Value Conference Call

Pierre Py and Eric Bokota, Portfolio Managers of the FPA International Value Fund, (Nasdaq: FPIVX, a mutual fund managed by FPA), will hold a 4th quarter 2011 conference call on Thursday February 2, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time, to discuss the strategy, the portfolio managed as well as their outlook on the economy and the market, and to answer questions, as time permits, which you may submit online upon registration.

  • Anyone know if FPIVX is no load like FPACX? All other funds for sure from FPA are loaded. It would be nice to know if FPIVX is no-load. I could
  • Reply to @VintageFreak: The prospectus is available FPA funds website. The International fund, FPIVX, is a no load with ER at 1.35% after fee waiver.

    Please note that both managers came from Harris Associates as international equity analysts. In similar situation, several ex-Harris manager/analyst such as David Samra and Daniel J. O'Keefe went on to became successful on their own at Artisan International Value Fund. Their new Global Value Fund looks interesting.
