FYI: China’s markets got a global rally going after Premier Li Keqiang pledged to prop up economic growth in the world’s second-largest economy. Two other moves in focus on Monday: the dollar’s fierce rally wore out against the euro. Meantime, crude oil’s slide accelerated. The biggest focus this week is the Federal Open Market Committee, which makes decisions on interest rates. The FOMC will release a statement on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Eastern time, and Fed Chair Janet Yellen will take questions from the press after the statement’s release.

Ted
